In this varied role, you will support the IT Supplier Management team with communications hardware incidents and requests.
You will set up mobile communications hardware and create cost savings by identifying and helping to implement opportunities.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract.
What you'll do
In this exciting role, you will:
- investigate incidents raised for mobile communication devices
- carry out the fulfilment of service requests raised for mobile communication devices
- liaise with Internal IT teams and external stakeholders on telemetry faults
- assist in recommending standard mobile communication devices
- set up mobile communication devices
- carry out CMDB maintenance and asset creation
- raise telemetry line requests with external suppliers
- produce reports to highlight Mobile Communication process improvements and efficiencies
- carry out logistical planning for customer devices.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail
- excellent communication skills at all levels
- the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- the ability to work well under tight deadlines
- an analytical and curious mindset
- the ability to use your own initiative and be self-motivated
- excellent O365 skills, particularly in the use of Outlook and Excel
- at least three years' experience in an IT Support Role or similar
- a good working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Samsung Knox and Apple DEP (advantageous)
- a good working knowledge of CMDB, ticket management and asset management
- practical experience with troubleshooting iOS and Android systems
- knowledge of IT service management best practice, such as ITILv3 or 4 (desirable)
- the ability and willingness to learn and understand new systems quickly
- the ability and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of end users
- the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external contacts.
