Are you working within a digital team and seeking a new challenge?  If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our Communications and Community team as a Digital Specialist.

What you'll do

As a Digital Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team running our digital communication channels including websites, portals, content and knowledge management, email marketing, intranet, SMS, surveys chat and chat bots.

Reporting to one of our digital delivery managers, you will be responsible for:

  • providing frontline support to the YTL UK group of companies, including Wessex Water
  • ensuring all work requests are actioned and prioritised in line with our digital principles
  • working alongside other digital colleagues to ensure planned work and unplanned requests are delivered to agreed timescales
  • supporting digital projects to help introduce better ways of working and improve customer and employee experience
  • liaising with teams across our businesses to create clear and accurate user journeys that can inform content requirements and website design requirements
  • collaborating on release scheduling, content delivery, testing and KPIs
  • maintaining accessibility across digital channels in alignment with WCAG 2.2 AA standard
  • using analytics tools to improve and optimise digital channels and systems. 

What you'll need

You will have good interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written English, and the ability to interact at all levels from team members to senior managers. You will be self-motivated and have good organisational skills. 

In addition, you will need:  

  • a degree or equivalent qualification 
  • working knowledge of content management systems (preferably Umbraco), customer relationship management (preferably HubSpot), knowledge management, email marketing, chat, surveys and SMS 
  • working knowledge of HTML and CSS 
  • proficient experience using Microsoft Office and Office 365, including SharePoint and Power BI 
  • experience using the Google suite, including Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console 
  • knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop 
  • a high level of IT literacy 
  • experience in UI/UX, functional and end-to-end testing.
