General Foreperson

We have an opportunity to join YTL Construction UK as a General Foreperson!

You'll lead, motivate and inspire your teams to maximise the effectiveness across individual sites, whilst ensuring the highest standards we expect are maintained.

What you'll do

• Take full leadership of on‑site resources, ensuring high‑quality delivery aligned with the industrialised engineering approach while motivating and developing the team.
• Encourage collaboration, effective communication and continuous improvement, while supporting staff development and succession planning.
• Contribute to process enhancements, lead cross‑functional initiatives, maintain governance and risk management and ensure best practices and lessons learned are consistently applied.
• Assist in leading the site team to support the successful delivery of project outcomes, through effective planning, procurement, risk management and communication with the relevant personnel.
• Work closely with all relevant disciplines on your sites to clearly communicate and promote strategies, dependencies and plans for your projects and initiatives.
• Champion safety and well-being, uphold strong quality standards, manage workload and timelines, and drive cost efficiencies across projects.

What you'll need

• Experience working as a General Foreperson or at a similar supervisory level. 
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Temporary Works Supervisor qualification. 
• Crane Lift Supervisor qualification. 
• Valid First Aid certification.
