Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, YTL Construction UK (Infrastructure) is seeking a Graduate Estimating Coordinator to join our dynamic and forward-thinking estimating team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high‑impact infrastructure projects and collaborate with experienced professionals in a supportive, team‑driven environment.
As a Graduate Estimating Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Estimating function.
What you'll do
Your key responsibilities will include:
- logging all incoming tenders and enquiries
- maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records
- allocating projects to the appropriate estimators based on workload and skills
- updating core estimating systems with the latest labour, plant, and material rates
- contribute to the continuous improvement of our cost libraries and benchmarking data
- organising and expanding our quotation database
- ensuring historic project data is captured and accessible to support future tendering
- obtaining 3rd-party quotes from suppliers
- assisting estimators with document control, data entry, and tender coordination tasks
- arranging, attending, and managing actions from review meetings
- helping streamline internal processes for improved efficiency.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who has:
- previous experience working within Construction or Engineering
- a relevant degree
- a confident and assertive manner
- a positive, methodical and ‘can do' approach
- a good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows packages, particularly Excel
- knowledge and/or interest in AI functions such as Co-Pilot
- sound interpersonal skills, including telephone and written communication skills.
We are open to applicants who want a 30 or 40-hour working week.
