Some MEP projects keep the lights on. This one is helping create an entirely new neighbourhood.

YTL Construction UK is transforming the historic former Filton Airfield, the birthplace of Concorde and supersonic travel, into Brabazon, one of the UK's largest and most exciting private regeneration projects. And we need an MEP Project Manager to help bring it all together.

From the systems behind the walls to the infrastructure that makes buildings work, you'll be right at the heart of delivering Brabazon.

You'll take MEP from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover, working across a complex, multi-million-pound programme where coordination, collaboration and getting the detail right really matter.

Concorde put this place on the map. Now it's your chance to help build what comes next.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Senior MEP Manager, you'll take a leading role in the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services across the project lifecycle.

You'll get involved from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover, including:

  • supporting the MEP design journey from RIBA Stage 0 through to Stage 3, before helping lead delivery from Stage 4 onwards
  • reviewing consultant designs for technical accuracy, coordination and compliance with UK Building Regulations, CIBSE standards and BSRIA guidelines
  • driving spatial coordination using BIM, tackling clashes before they become expensive problems on site
  • working with sustainability specialists to integrate low-carbon and energy-efficient solutions
  • supporting procurement, tender reviews, package negotiations and the appointment of MEP contractors, suppliers and vendors
  • acting as a key point of contact for MEP matters and managing MEP Supervisors and on-site Engineers
  • planning and coordinating MEP installation activities across contractors, subcontractors and specialist trades
  • keeping a close eye on programme, technical performance, procurement schedules and risk
  • overseeing testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing and performance validation
  • leading the journey through to handover, ensuring O&M information, asset registers, certification and training are ready to go.

In short, you'll help make sure everything works exactly as it should, even if most people never see what makes it happen.

What you'll need

We're looking for someone who knows their way around a complex MEP package, but just as importantly, someone who can lead, collaborate, challenge and keep things moving.

You'll bring:

  • strong project management experience with an excellent working knowledge of MEP systems, design and installation
  • a proven track record of successfully delivering multi-million-pound MEP packages
  • an HNC, HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • experience working with BIM/Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks
  • the ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and commissioning schedules
  • familiarity with project planning and reporting tools
  • a solid understanding of technical standards, statutory requirements and programme delivery
  • strong leadership, coordination and risk management skills
  • a CSCS Card, which is mandatory.

You'll need to be comfortable with complexity, confident working across multiple disciplines and just as happy in a design review as you are solving a problem on site.

Because at Brabazon, we're not just delivering buildings. We're building the systems that will make an entirely new neighbourhood tick.

What you'll receive

  • A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
  • Career progression and professional development opportunities.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
  • A car allowance.
  • Performance-related bonus.
  • The opportunity to sell up to five days of holiday every year.
  • The opportunity to buy up to ten days of holiday each year (subject to conditions).
  • A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
  • Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
  • The opportunity to lease a new electric car through salary sacrifice (subject to conditions).
  • Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
  • Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
  • Access to an interactive health and wellbeing platform.
  • Support from trained mental health first aiders.
  • A £1,000 referral fee if you recommend someone who is successfully recruited by us.
