The Performance and Benefits Analyst will support the business in making better and more informed decisions, aligned with the company's targets and aims.

What you'll do
You will provide analytical support to the Performance and Benefits Manager within the Finance department. The role will involve monitoring the business performance against regulatory compliance, alongside evidencing benefits that the business needs to deliver within our investment decision-making.
This will include:
- developing a core understanding of regulatory requirements to ensure the business is compliant with expectations
- supporting the regulatory reporting on performance and benefits by collating and analysing accurate data
- supporting the development of creating accurate reporting of benefits realised and value-added from company activities
- understanding and utilising a number of frameworks to optimise the business's decision-making
- providing accurate data to facilitate colleagues with the creation of company business plans and other regulatory requirements.
What you'll need
In this role, we are looking for:
- a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- a high level of PC literacy (eg, Excel VBA advanced) and experience in statistical analysis is essential
- detail-oriented and organised, with a habit of capturing processes, decisions, and methodologies for future reference, is essential
- critical and analytical thinking with attention to detail
- excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate others
- strong ability to create and maintain working relationships
- knowledge of the regulatory environment in the water industry is desirable.
