You know that feeling when a hiring manager says, "We've found the one!" We live for those moments too!!

That's why we're looking for a talented Recruiter to join our People team at YTL UK. If you're passionate about connecting great people with great careers, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and creating outstanding candidate experiences, you'll feel right at home here.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in attracting talented individuals into our growing construction business, helping shape the future of our workforce and making a real impact on how we find, engage and hire exceptional talent.

What you'll do

As a Recruiter within our organisation, you'll be at the heart of helping us find the people who make great things happen. From championing our direct recruitment channels and enhancing our employer brand, to ensuring our recruitment processes are engaging, effective and fit for purpose. You'll play a key role in attracting exceptional talent to YTL Construction UK.

You'll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment activity, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs. You will develop talent attraction strategies, advertise opportunities, and proactively source candidates.

Ultimately, you will help secure the very best talent for their teams. Think trusted advisor, recruiter, and brand ambassador all rolled into one.

You'll be involved in a variety of recruitment initiatives, including careers fairs, open days and other events that help showcase YTL Construction UK as an employer of choice.

This is more than just filling vacancies. It's an opportunity to bring fresh ideas, challenge the status quo, engage with change management, and put your own stamp on how we attract and engage talent.

If you enjoy finding creative ways to connect with candidates, forging strong partnerships and spotting opportunities to do things better, you'll thrive in this role.

You'll be based at Claverton Down, near Bath, with occasional travel to Bristol and ad hoc visits to sites across the South West, allowing you to build relationships and gain a real understanding of the business you'll be supporting.

What you'll need

You'll have experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, either in-house or within an agency environment, and ideally have recruited for technical or specialist roles within the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.

You'll be comfortable working across a variety of skill sets, balancing multiple priorities and partnering with hiring managers to find the right people for the right opportunities.

A strong understanding of the South West employment market and an awareness of the exciting growth taking place across the construction industry would be a distinct advantage.

Your experience and behaviours will also include:

  • a strong knowledge of attraction channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and proactive sourcing techniques
  • building credible, trusted relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • identifying and engaging passive candidates, because sometimes the best talent isn't actively looking
  • planning and attending careers fairs, open days and recruitment events
  • continuously looking for ways to improve processes and enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience
  • supporting wider recruitment and talent initiatives across the business
  • bringing passion, positivity and a genuine enthusiasm for connecting great people with great careers
  • working collaboratively as part of a supportive People team
  • taking ownership of your work and approaching challenges with a proactive mindset.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who loves what recruitment is really all about: people. You'll enjoy building relationships, thrive on finding solutions, and understand that every successful hire is more than just filling a vacancy. It's helping someone take the next step in their career while making a lasting impact on the business.

A full UK driving licence (with your own vehicle) is required.

What you'll receive

  • A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
  • Career progression and professional development opportunities.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
  • The opportunity to sell up to five days of holiday every year.
