We are looking for a Reward Projects Specialist (for a 6-month fixed-term contract), to support and deliver a wide range of pay, benefits and reward projects across our organisation. This role helps ensure our reward practices are fair, consistent and aligned with our policies, legal requirements and business needs. You will work with data, systems and colleagues from different teams to review how our reward arrangements operate today and help develop practical improvements for the future.
You will contribute directly to key areas such as pay structures, incentive schemes, financial modelling, governance processes and the overall employee reward experience.
What you'll do
In this exciting new role, you will:
- review and evaluate reward, pay and incentive arrangements and identify areas for improvement
- analyse data to understand participation, cost, trends and outcomes, and present clear findings
- support the design of revised or new reward proposals, models and options
- prepare project plans, track progress and ensure work is delivered to agreed timelines
- produce clear reports, summaries and supporting materials for colleagues and decision‑makers
- ensure reward projects comply with internal policies, legal requirements and governance standards
- work with HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll and operational teams to support implementation and communication of changes
- contribute to continuous improvement across reward processes, systems and documentation.
As part of the team, we can offer:
- a supportive HR team with opportunities to develop specialist reward skills
- involvement in meaningful projects that improve fairness and consistency across the organisation
- experience working with colleagues in HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll and leadership teams
- a role where your work has a direct impact on processes, clarity and the employee experience.
If you would like to help develop fair and transparent reward practices and enjoy working with data and structured projects, we would be pleased to hear from you
What you'll need
We welcome applications from people with different backgrounds. The following experience and strengths will help in this role:
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Experience in reward, HR analytics, compensation or other project‑based HR or data‑focused roles.
- Ability to plan, organise and manage project tasks steadily and reliably.
- Ability to explain information clearly to colleagues with different levels of technical knowledge.
- Good attention to detail, especially when working with data or written materials.
- Ability to work with a range of teams and consider different perspectives when developing solutions.
- An understanding of reward governance, legislation or pay structures is helpful but not essential.
If you do not meet every point, please still consider applying. Skills can be developed; we are interested in how you approach work and your willingness to learn.
What you'll receive
- A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
- 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service (pro rata).
- A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
- Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
- Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
- One paid volunteering day each year.
- Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
- Access to an interactive health and wellbeing platform.
- Support from trained mental health first aiders.
