The Asset Verification Technician supports the delivery of the Asset Verification (AV) project within the Asset Information Management (AIM) team. The role focuses on locating, reviewing, and organising site-based and asset-related documentation across multiple business systems to ensure information is accurate, complete, and aligned with company standards, enabling site-based colleagues to meet their requirements as per the AV Project.

This is a 2-year fixed-term position that offers an opportunity to gain experience in asset data, document management, and cross-team collaboration.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the delivery of the Asset Verification project by locating and retrieving site-specific and asset-related documentation from a range of company systems, including SharePoint and other internal platforms. You will review documentation to ensure it is accurate and relevant before uploading and organising it.

You will also work closely with colleagues across the business to request, clarify, and validate site and asset information, supporting a consistent approach to document and data management. The role includes maintaining accurate records of your work and tracking progress against agreed targets.

In addition to office-based activities, you will support occasional site visits to verify asset information and documentation. During these visits, you may capture or confirm asset details and ensure this information is accurately reflected within company systems.

What you'll need

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of information.
  • Confidence using multiple IT systems, such as Microsoft, and in learning new platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of document management or data handling.
  • Good communication skills for engaging with internal and external teams.
  • Full UK driving licence (required for occasional site visits).

Essential requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel to operational sites as part of the role.

What you'll receive

  • A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
  • Career progression and professional development opportunities.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
  • The opportunity to sell up to five days of holiday every year.

  • A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
  • Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
  • The opportunity to lease a new electric car through salary sacrifice (subject to conditions).
  • Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
  • Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
  • Access to an interactive health and wellbeing platform.
  • Support from trained mental health first aiders.
