The Document Controller is responsible for providing administration support to Turnbull's stakeholders, inclusive of our supply chain. To ensure that all documentation requests are completed with accuracy. This role must maintain a level of compliance for document control as per the guidance and regulations set out by our clients.

This role will also manage the internal documentation for Turnbull, again, ensuring all requests are completed with accuracy and quality is controlled. Be the first point of contact for all documentation enquiries and take the lead and follow up on actions, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. And aid the Support Services department with the goals and ambitions, and support any crossover tasks/projects between the other disciplines within the department to ensure we are delivering a first-class service.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. 

What you'll do

  • Ensure all documents across Turnbull at HPC are controlled to avoid disruption to the delivery teams and their planned works.
  • Safeguard the compliance of documentation for all Turnbull stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation is processed in line with NNB requirements.
  • Manage and prepare both the internal and external document registers to ensure quality and compliance for the business and our contracts.
  • Ensure good liaison with other Turnbull departments, including Tier 2 + 3 sub-contractors, promoting a consistent approach, building relationships, and providing resolution of identified problems.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient uploading of all company documents to IMS.
  • Support the wider team with all ADHOC administration requests.
  • Manage correspondence by answering emails/queries in joint inboxes.

What you'll need

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage tight and often conflicting timescales, and problem-solve efficiently and effectively.
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft packages – Outlook, Word, Excel, Email, Visio, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proactive, organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent administration-based skills.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels with the ability to operate with diplomacy, tact, and empathy.
  • Ability to deal with large data sets and provide analysis for reporting.
  • Customer focused.
