Are you an experienced Electrician, looking to undertake further training and upskill yourself? If so, we have a role which will see you join a friendly and supportive team where you'll help to maintain the highest standards across our water recycling centres.

This is an exciting challenge for you to join our high-performing and dedicated Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation (EM&I) team, covering our sites across Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch.

Whether you have previous experience working in a 24/7 operational production environment or a commercial or Industrial background in testing and inspecting, fault finding and three-phase power, then we want to hear from you!

What you'll do

You will join the EM&I team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance work across our various water recycling centres. This is a varied role within a well-established and qualified team.

You will be fully supported throughout your role and have ongoing development opportunities to develop your skillset and knowledge, which can include progressing onto PLC programming and Compex (9-10).

You will use your skills to ensure maintenance across the site is at the highest standard, as well as being proactive with your approach.

We will provide you with all relevant protective equipment needed to carry out your role, including, a company van and fuel card.

What you'll need

To be successful, we are seeking a time-served Electrician who is competent in:

  • three-phase and single-phase power
  • control circuits
  • fault finding.

In addition, you will be required to have a can-do attitude and a flexible approach to work activities, as you will be involved in a variety of tasks.

You must have a City & Guilds/BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or a time-served electrical apprenticeship. Formal mechanical training (dual-skilled) is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will also need to have excellent health and safety awareness and IT literacy.

You must hold a valid UK Driving licence, as there will be regular travel to and from sites across the region. You will also be required to participate in a standby rota.
