Are you an experienced electrician looking to undertake further training and upskill yourself? If so, we have a role which will see you join a friendly and supportive team where you'll help to maintain the highest standards across our Water Recycling sites.

This is an exciting challenge for you to join our high-performing and dedicated Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) team, covering our sites across the Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch area.

Whether you have previous experience working in a 24/7 operational production environment or a commercial or Industrial background in testing and inspecting, fault-finding and three-phase, then we want to hear from you!

What you'll do

You'll join the M&E team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance work across our various Water Recycling sites. This is a varied role within a well-established and qualified team.

You'll be fully supported throughout your role and have ongoing development opportunities to develop your skillset and knowledge.

You'll use your skills to ensure maintenance across the site is at the highest standard and be proactive with your approach.

Please note that we will also provide you with all relevant protective equipment needed to carry out your role, including a Company Van and Fuel Card.

What you'll need

To be successful, we are seeking a time-served Electrician who is competent in:

  • three-phase and single-phase power
  • control circuits
  • fault finding.

In addition, you will be required to have a can-do attitude and a flexible approach to work activities, as you will be involved in a variety of tasks.

You must have a City & Guilds/BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or a time-served electrical apprenticeship. Formal mechanical training (dual-skilled) is preferred but not essential. You'll also need to have excellent health and safety awareness and IT literacy.

You must hold a valid UK Driving licence, as there will be regular travel around various sites within the region and you will also be required to participate in a standby rota.

What you'll receive

  • A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
  • Career progression and professional development opportunities.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
  • The opportunity to sell up to five days of holiday every year.

  • A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
  • Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
  • The opportunity to lease a new electric car through salary sacrifice (subject to conditions).
  • Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
  • Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
  • Access to an interactive health and wellbeing platform.
