  • providing on-site engineering support to the site installation teams during construction and close out to continue delivering savings and high-quality installs
  • managing the sustainable procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment required for construction projects, in line with cost and programme targets, ensuring compliance with company procurement rules and achieving best value
  • assisting with preparing the technical elements of contracts and sub-contracts
  • working with suppliers to ensure quality and programme targets are met
  • reviewing the technical validity of estimates and commercial forecasts
  • coordinating site visits and survey work to ensure designs can be completed correctly and efficiently
  • assisting with monitoring progress and reporting to the M&E Project Manager
  • compilation and checking of project operation and maintenance manuals, along with other associated project completion documentation.

What You'll Need

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and passionate M&E Project Engineer with a proven commitment to delivering projects and programmes of work.

You'll also have a practical understanding and confidence in mechanical and electrical engineering, along with a keen desire to continually develop your knowledge further.

To be successful, we are looking for a great communicator who can demonstrate creative engineering thinking and make decisions effectively.

You will also be comfortable managing your own time and planning your own work.

Ideally, you will have previous water industry experience, will be educated to HND/degree level or have the equivalent experience. Being professionally registered or seeking registration is desirable, with a focus on personal and professional development.
