Some venues host events. Others become part of people's stories!

If you get excited by packed arenas, powerful brands, customer insight, sold-out events and the challenge of building something special, this could be your headline act.

At YTL Live, we're building something extraordinary.  From unforgettable live experiences to world-class entertainment, we're creating destinations that people talk about long after the lights go down.

As we prepare for the exciting launch of Aviva Arena and continue to grow the wider YTL Live estate, we're looking for a Marketing & Communications Director who can turn curiosity into crowds, audiences into advocates, and brilliant events into sold-out success.

This isn't just a marketing role.  It's an opportunity to shape how millions of customer interactions are experienced, influence commercial performance, build a powerful brand from the ground up, and lead the strategy behind one of the UK's most exciting live entertainment ventures.

With responsibility for a marketing and communications budget, a growing team, and a huge opportunity to define the customer experience before opening day, you'll be at the heart of everything that drives demand, reputation and audience growth.

What you'll do

  • Create the marketing, communications and audience strategy that brings YTL Live to life and keeps people coming back for more.
  • Turn great events into must-attend moments through clever, creative and commercially focused campaigns.
  • Lead everything from brand and PR to digital marketing, customer engagement and audience development.
  • Make sure every customer touchpoint, from first click to final encore, feels seamless, memorable and brilliantly executed.
  • Use customer insight, data and audience trends to inform decisions, optimise performance and uncover new opportunities.
  • Build demand across ticket sales, premium experiences, hospitality offerings and future event programmes.
  • Help shape event strategy by bringing audience insight and commercial thinking to the table.
  • Own agency relationships, campaign investment and marketing budgets, ensuring every pound works as hard as possible.
  • Be the guardian of the YTL Live brand, ensuring consistent messaging, strong storytelling and a reputation that shines as brightly as the stage lights.
  • Lead media relations, communications planning and issues management with confidence, credibility and sound judgement.
  • Develop marketing governance, reporting and measurement frameworks that turn activity into actionable insight.
  • Build, lead and inspire a talented team, creating a culture that is customer-focused, commercially minded and passionate about delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Partner with colleagues across Programming, Partnerships, Ticketing, Operations, Technology, Finance and Corporate Affairs to make great ideas happen.
  • Play a pivotal role in the pre-opening journey, helping establish the foundations that will support long-term growth and success.

What you'll need

  • A track record of turning marketing strategies into commercial results, whether that's sold-out events, growing audiences, stronger brands or all three.
  • Experience leading marketing, communications, brand, digital or audience functions within live entertainment, sport, hospitality, leisure, venues or other customer-obsessed environments.
  • A natural ability to spot opportunities, connect dots and find growth where others see challenges.
  • Strong commercial instincts and a genuine understanding that great marketing should move the needle, not just win awards.
  • Confidence navigating the worlds of ticketing, digital marketing, CRM, customer data, audience insight and campaign performance.
  • Experience creating customer journeys that feel effortless to audiences but are carefully designed behind the scenes.
  • A reputation for building brands that people trust, remember and want to be associated with.
  • The ability to balance creativity with analytical thinking, moving seamlessly between big ideas and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience managing agencies, suppliers and budgets without losing sight of what matters most: delivering results.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence senior leaders, challenge constructively and bring people with you.
  • Experience leading talented teams and creating environments where people do their best work.
  • A cool head when things get busy, a curious mind when opportunities appear and the energy to thrive in a fast-moving, high-profile environment.
  • Most importantly, you'll love live experiences, understand audiences and get a genuine buzz from seeing thousands of people enjoying something you've helped bring to life.

What you'll receive

  • A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
  • A car allowance.
  • Performance-related bonus.
  • Private healthcare.
  • The opportunity to sell up to five days of holiday every year.
  • The opportunity to buy up to ten days of holiday each year (subject to conditions).
  • A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
  • Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
  • The opportunity to lease a new electric car through salary sacrifice (subject to conditions).
  • Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
  • Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
  • Access to an interactive health and wellbeing platform.
  • Support from trained mental health first aiders.
  • A £1,000 referral fee if you recommend someone who is successfully recruited by us.
