Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? As a key player, you'll be responsible for the tactical management of our operational network and associated assets across treatment and dewatering facilities.

What you'll do

The main responsibilities of your job will be:

  • Lead operational teams responsible for specific deliverables, responsible for managing contractual budgets, processes, and resources to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the client.
  • Implement business plan objectives to drive the business forward, devising and implementing strategies to enhance operational productivity while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Handle commercial and compliance issues, ensuring services comply with relevant regulations and permits, with zero serious incidents, within budgetary controls and adherence to set KPIs.
  • Build and maintain successful working relationships with client representatives and key contractors, adeptly resolving problems quickly and effectively.
  • Take a senior role in managing emergencies and local incidents to minimise impact, cost, and risk to the client.
  • Promote and embody company values and culture.
  • Mentor and motivate team members, supporting people development initiatives to grow internal talent.

What you'll need

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Broad operational and management experience in an industrial or utility environment.
  • Good process knowledge in operations and maintenance/water management/compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills to lead, engage, and motivate your team to perform at their best in a challenging environment.
  • Level 5 Leadership or Management Diploma or similar.
  • Full driving license, as the role may include working at various sites or locations.

You may be required to participate in and take part in a routine management standby function.
