The Organisation Design Partner delivers high-quality OD expertise across the Group. You'll work closely with senior leaders, HR Business Partners and transformation teams to translate strategic intent into organisation designs that support performance, clarity and successful change, while actively considering how changes will land for people in practice.
This role combines strong OD knowledge with hands-on delivery. You'll support operating model changes, capability transformation and will ensure all activity is evidence-based, well-governed, sustainable and communicated with clarity and care.
What you'll do
- Partner with leaders and HR colleagues to deliver OD activity across operating model changes, capability shifts and restructures.
- Lead diagnostics and design reviews to assess effectiveness and identify improvements, including role clarity, decision-making and ways of working.
- Design future-proofed structures, roles, accountabilities and governance aligned to agreed principles.
- Develop clear, high-quality OD outputs: structure charts, role designs, accountability models and design rationale.
- Support OD activity within large-scale transformation and change programmes.
- Facilitate OD workshops, colleague listening groups and leadership working sessions aimed at helping teams align on how work should happen.
- Act as a trusted adviser, providing challenge and practical insight while balancing outcomes, governance and people impact.
What you'll need
- Experience in organisation design, operating model projects or HR transformation roles.
- Strong understanding of OD principles, operating models and governance.
- Experience supporting change initiatives in complex organisations.
- Ability to influence and partner credibly with senior stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills; commercial, pragmatic and outcome-focused mindset.
- Comfortable balancing strategic advice with hands-on delivery.
- CIPD or organisation design qualification (desirable).
Why this role matters: You'll help design organisations where work is less confusing, decisions are clearer, roles are better defined, and teams are set up to deliver without unnecessary complexity or duplication.
What you'll receive
- A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
- Career progression and professional development opportunities.
- 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
- The opportunity to sell up to five days of holiday every year.
- The opportunity to buy up to ten days of holiday each year (subject to conditions).
- A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
- Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
- The opportunity to lease a new electric car through salary sacrifice (subject to conditions).
- Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
- One paid volunteering day each year.
- Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
- Access to an interactive health and wellbeing platform.
- Support from trained mental health first aiders.
- A £1,000 referral fee if you recommend someone who is successfully recruited by us.
