Production Supervisor

Do you like working outdoors? Do you have experience in or an understanding of the water production process? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our Yeovil production team as a Production Supervisor.

What you'll do

You will play a key role in leading the Yeovil production team, which operates and maintains our production assets to comply with appropriate legislation and company standards. Monitoring and optimising the treatment process will ensure that we operate as cost-effectively as possible.

Working under the production manager, you will:

• assist with the day-to-day running of the production team to ensure that we produce high-quality water of sufficient quantity for our customers
• make sure jobs are achieved on target 
• carry out process risk and team upskilling assessments
• comply with all Health and Safety requirements and company procedures
• take part in a paid on-call standby rota, including weekend working, when required
• review approvals of the production teams' holiday and overtime claims
• take the lead on the production teams' training and upskilling.

What you'll need

You should have experience in or an understanding of the water treatment process, Scope-x/Prism and QlikView.

You will also need:

• good communication skills
• experience in leading a team
• a flexible approach to work, including working as part of a team and on your own, when required
• a valid driving licence to be able to travel to a variety of sites in the region
• excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• strong planning, communication and prioritisation skills.
