Do you have excellent attention to detail? Are you looking for a role where you can use your strong collaboration and organisational abilities to support programmes that encourage our customers to use water wisely? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Project Coordinator.
We are hoping to hold interviews in w/c 2nd March, face to face in Bath at our Operations Centre. We'll ask you to complete a small data task before the interview, which you'll present as part of the interview.
What you'll do
As the Project Coordinator, you will mostly be working on our Home Check and non-household water efficiency programmes.
The significant growth of these projects alongside our smart metering roll-out means there are exciting opportunities to find new ways of working, with more data available to us than ever before.
You'll be helping with the day-to-day relationship management of third-party contractors, as well as looking after the monthly rhythm of monitoring and reporting on our activities against our business targets.
Alongside this, you'll be using new data sources to create key insights that can be used to inform decisions, optimise customer recruitment and develop new methods for assessing the impact of our work.
Specific tasks you'll be responsible for include:
- coordinating data exchanges between us and third parties
- deep dive analysis of smart data to assess the impact of our work
- resolving and responding to complaints
- coordinating customer recruitment and engagement activities
- the administration of activities to support the development and running of our new water efficiency business innovation fund
- monthly and annual audit of water programmes, which involves both analysis and writing commentaries to explain the work we achieve and auditor liaison
- the day-to-day monitoring of budgets and spend to ensure we meet targets within budget
- managing product and stock levels and monitoring KPIs.
What you'll need
We are looking for a confident communicator as you will be coordinating projects, which require input from numerous teams, so clear writing skills and a collaborative working approach are essential.
You will also have good data analysis and management skills and a strong aptitude for using Microsoft Excel.
In addition, we are looking for:
- degree in a science, environmental, engineering or other maths-based subject
- an understanding of the water industry
- experience of customer-facing programmes or customer services
- good communication and presentation skills, including written, email, reports, presentations and spoken word
- an aptitude for analysing, transforming and gaining insights from data.
What you'll receive
- A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
- Career progression and professional development opportunities.
- 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
- The opportunity to sell up to five days of holiday every year.
- The opportunity to buy up to ten days of holiday each year (subject to conditions).
- A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
- Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
- The opportunity to lease a new electric car through salary sacrifice (subject to conditions).
- Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
- One paid volunteering day each year.
- Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
- Access to an interactive health and wellbeing platform.
- Support from trained mental health first aiders.
- A £1,000 referral fee if you recommend someone who is successfully recruited by us.
