What you'll do

You will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive projects across a diverse range of drinking and wastewater treatment sites and pumping stations. Based in Trowbridge, you will be delivering projects in South Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset and Wiltshire.

You will be involved in optioneering, contracts, tendering, spend forecasting, project delivery, commissioning, authoring payments and project closedowns, as well as working closely with our contractors to achieve this.

Depending on experience, you will be responsible for:

  • managing health and safety throughout projects.

What you'll need

It is essential you have a safety-first approach and good negotiation and influencing skills.

In addition, you will need:

  • a positive and "can-do" attitude
  • to be well-organised, customer-focused and a great team player
  • project management experience
  • to be electrically or mechanically qualified, ideally up to level 4 (HNC) - other qualifications and experience will be considered
  • working knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM 2015
  • to hold SMSTS and SSSTS certificates
  • a valid UK driving licence (a company car will be provided if you cannot use your own vehicle).

What you'll receive

  • Total pension contributions up to 20%.
  • Career progression and professional development opportunities.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
