We are seeking a Quality Assurance Test Lead with a passion for quality and a proactive mindset to join our fast-paced and evolving environment. Our Technology department provides an end-to-end service to a wide range of internal customers, encompassing Information Technology and Info Security development, delivery and support. We are a key element in the successful growth and expansion of YTL Group across both our regulated and unregulated businesses.
What you'll do
In this pivotal role, you will:
- lead and manage testing activities across multiple projects, including product and application upgrades
- define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes on a variety of projects and products
- collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, project and product management, and business stakeholders
- oversee testing progress throughout the development lifecycle on several projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- ensure timely delivery of high-quality software applications through effective test planning, execution and monitoring
- ensure testers, both on and offshore teams, follow testing standards and procedures on projects and products
- liaise with project management and internal customers to plan and manage user acceptance testing.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who has:
- ISTQB foundation/intermediate software testing
- ISTQB certified Tester, Advanced Level Test Management to intermediate or advanced level (depending on experience)
- ISTQB Foundation in Agile
- experience as a QA/Test Lead, including day-to-day management of testers
- experience in a software testing environment
- detailed level of understanding and experience of software development methodologies and their associated testing practices (including Agile, V-Model, Waterfall)
- the ability to plan and prioritise workloads across multiple concurrent activities
- strong understanding of software testing methodologies (FTP, manual and automated)
- experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)
- experience with testing in product management
- familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and technologies
- a growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools and approaches.
It would be desirable if you had:
- the ability to understand background SQL data tables and queries
- knowledge of automation frameworks
- experience with Microsoft D365 capabilities.
