Sewer Asset Surveying Operative

What you'll do 

As a Sewer Asset Surveying Operative, you'll play a hands‑on role out in the field, supporting the team leader as you explore and assess the wastewater network using advanced robotic CCTV technology.

Every day offers something different as you help deliver high‑quality sewer surveys, follow safe working practices, and keep essential equipment in top condition.

You will work closely with the Sewer Asset Surveying Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure all work is delivered efficiently, to a high standard and in line with agreed targets. 

You'll uphold the highest levels of health and safety, follow all procedures and best practices, and maintain the wellbeing of colleagues, the public and yourself always.  

What you'll need 

A practical hands-on outdoor working background is best suited to this role.

Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.  

It would be beneficial if you have any of the following certificates or experience:

• wastewater industry experience (sewers/drains)
• confined space entry
• manual handling
• new roads and streetworks chapter 8 signing and guarding (unit 2).
