We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Liquid Bioresources Team in Trowbridge on a part-time basis, providing environmentally friendly treatment of various non-hazardous liquids to our valued customers. 

What you'll do

A typical day as a Technical Assistant will involve liaising with the drivers, testing samples, checking & completing paperwork and accurately recording information on our computer system. 

As well as providing our customers with the exceptional service you will be responsible for ensuring that onsite equipment such as our discharge bays and plant remains clean, effective and operational.

You will be required to take a proactive approach to Health & Safety and be a champion of safe practices and policies by completing daily checks and routine inspections.

Predominantly two days per week, ideally, Wednesday – Thursday between the hours of 08:00 -16:00, but some flexibility in the working days may be possible. 
Due to business need, on occasion cover on non-working days will be required.

What you'll need

We would love to hear from you if you have an interest in the wastewater industry and especially if you have practical experience. 

We are looking for someone with a passion for the environment, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to engage in a professional and friendly manner with others.

It would be advantageous if you have a good understanding of wastewater treatment processes and legislation.

You will also need to have a driving licence and computer skills.
