As our new Dynamics Support Consultant, you will support, maintain and ensure a successful user experience for production D365 business services.

What you'll do

In this exciting role, you will:

  • ensure best practice ticket management in accordance with internal service management KPI's, ITIL and ISO27001 accreditation
  • ensure we are proactive in our support and maintenance, working with system logs
  • help end users maximise efficiency through effective use of D365 applications
  • become a subject matter expert (SME) in production, both Dynamics services and the business process underpinned
  • build strong strategic relationships with stakeholders and decision makers in the business
  • help to ensure the right decisions are made for the business and the users of Dynamics
  • communicate with our developers and functional consultants, ensuring the preparation for future go-lives is well considered
  • build strong relationships with third parties, partners, and Microsoft directly to ensure contractual obligations and support KPIs are achieved.

What you'll need

In this role, you'll need:

  • experience of IT software, platforms and application interfaces
  • IT processes, ticket management and ITIL principles
  • business process knowledge
  • contextual knowledge of how the D365 benefits our businesses
  • good technical knowledge and understanding of database and automation technology (for example, MS SQL, PowerShell)
  • knowledge of Software As A Service (SaaS) services
  • IT competency, e.g. cloud infrastructure, integration methods, reporting and analytics, active directory, ITIL, customer support and change management
  • D365 product knowledge, e.g. modules, services, developer tool suites, use cases, case studies
  • Microsoft Power Platform knowledge, including business benefit
  • prior experience in a relevant role (e.g. Support Consultant, Service Desk Engineer, technical roles supporting business colleagues)
  • to be personable and communicate effectively across a breadth of stakeholders, e.g. business leaders, product owners, Project Managers, Dynamics Developers, and functional consultants
  • to be adaptable and have a passion and willingness to keep up to date with market trends and new features that may be beneficial for our business (e.g. Co-Pilot for Dynamics).
