What you'll do
Our in-house Environment and Planning Services team provides a wide range of services to facilitate project delivery for engineering, construction and operational projects.

You will also provide environmental information and guidance to engineering and construction colleagues in response to requests for general assistance and advice at all stages of the project, ensuring we maintain legal compliance.
The role provides development opportunities, including a pathway to obtaining professional membership to an environmental institution.

- good organisational skills
- good IT skills
- a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
It would also be beneficial if you have:
- basic knowledge of UK Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes and legislation
- approximately one year of similar project experience, but new graduates with relevant backgrounds will also be considered
- GIS experience.
What you'll receive
- A combined pension contribution of up to 20%
- Career progression and professional development opportunities.
- 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
- The opportunity to buy up to ten days' holiday and sell up to five every year.
- A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
- Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
- A new electric car in exchange for part of your gross salary, subject to conditions.
- Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
