HR Assistant

Are you someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment to deliver an efficient HR service? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to support our hospitality business and work within our People Team which provides a range of innovative and professional HR services to the YTL Group.

What you'll do

Reporting to the HR Manager for YTL Hotels, you will be mainly be based at our central offices in Bath at Abbey Church House, next door to The Gainsborough Bath Spa. 

You will support all HR activities for our five UK-based YTL Hotels and the Thermae Bath Spa and will work closely with the HR Manager, the wider HR team and the hotels' operation teams to provide support to ensure the smooth operation of HR-related activities.

You will be answering emails, telephone and face-to-face queries from both managers and employees, processing recruitment, payroll and onboarding administration for our people.

We offer the opportunity for development within the role as you will also be supporting the HR Manager with a wide range of case work and other people related projects.

What you'll need

Ideally you will have already spent some time working in an HR department and be used to managing large volumes of work while taking care with attention to detail and 100% accuracy.

You will also need to:

• be a confident communicator as you will be liaising with colleagues remotely across the hotels
• be well organised and enjoy supporting your customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
• have sound IT skills and be confident using Word, Excel and Outlook.
