Are you an enthusiastic, motivated individual with the ability to multitask and solve problems? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Regional Scheduler.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role.
What you'll do
You will be responsible for providing resilience to the Regional Scheduling team. Key responsibilities will include maximising the efficient use of operational staff's time by creating schedules which will reduce mileage and fuel expenditure.
You will be liaising with our operational staff across multiple disciplines to help reduce overdue work. You will also be required to raise work requests to be carried out and prioritised, as well as scheduling planned maintenance.
In addition, you will also provide regular updates to our customers to support our performance commitments.
This role is 45 hours per week, from 7am to 4.30pm. However, due to the reactive nature of some of the work, some flexibility with working hours may be required. Our core hour scheduling team operate between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
However, we also provide out-of-hours cover and therefore overtime opportunities may be available.
What you'll need
We are looking for a team player with multitasking skills, as well as the ability to effectively resolve issues. We pride ourselves on customer service, so excellent communication skills are vital, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
We operate within strict service level agreements, so the ability to follow procedures and attention to detail underpins everything we do.
An understanding of our operational business would be an advantage, but if you have the aptitude and approach to effectively solve problems under pressure, we will ensure you receive all the training you need to adapt your skills to the role.
The role will require a candidate to engage with multiple IT systems, including Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Dynamics 365 and Teams) and internal software.
What you'll receive
- A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
- Career progression and professional development opportunities.
- 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
- The opportunity to buy up to ten days' holiday and sell up to five every year.
- A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.
- Life assurance of up to eight times your salary.
- A new electric car in exchange for part of your gross salary, subject to conditions.
- Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
- One paid volunteering day each year.
- Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
- An interactive health and wellbeing platform.
- Support from mental health first aiders.
- A £1,000 referral fee if you recommend someone to work for us.
