Who we are

GENeco is a multi-award-winning recycling and renewable energy company. We were created by Wessex Water in 2008 to help our parent company become more sustainable, and our truly ground-breaking and driven approach led to us achieving carbon neutrality and zero-waste-to-landfill status in the first three years of operation.

We manage over 700,000 tonnes of varied waste per annum, transforming this into commercial products, renewably sourced gas and electricity powering thousands of local homes. We are consistently setting new standards within the industry and utilising ground-breaking technology to provide the best value sustainable solutions to a diverse customer base.

From developing a VW Beetle powered by human waste to establishing a co-located food waste and sewage sludge recycling facility, GENeco was there first. Now we're setting out to shape the future of our business. Driven by strong values and a clear direction, we're focused on helping people achieve their ambitions in the right way.

This is a great opportunity to work for a multi-award-winning company and join the fight against climate change. We are committed to offering our customers innovative, cost effective and sustainable solutions.
