We're looking for a Treatment Operator to join our dedicated team in Chippenham, helping to keep essential services running smoothly and safely
What you'll do
Your role will involve:
- the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
- running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants
- ensuring compliance with company policy, processes and procedures
- ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times
- working outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.
This is a role where you'll get your hands dirty—literally. But it's also one where your work truly matters.
What you'll need
You will need experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.
Mechanical experience would be desirable. Confined spaces training will be provided as part of role, however you will need to be eligible to work in confined spaces.
This includes suitability to wear appropriate breathing apparatus and navigating tight spaces. If you have any questions about this, please contact our recruitment team. You will be required to participate in a standby rota as part of your duties.
You will also need:
- to be happy working outside in all conditions
- a valid driving licence, ideally with category BE
- to be flexible in your approach to work.
