We're looking for a proactive and driven Customer Account Manager to join our team at water2business, based in Nailsea. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of business customers, helping to strengthen our customer experience in a competitive market. What you'll do
As an Account Manager you'll:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with business customers to ensure high engagement and loyalty
- Act as the primary point of contact for your customer portfolio with billing queries and cost savings, influencing decision-makers at all levels
- Hold regular review meetings with your customers, both face to face and virtually, across your national portfolio
- Drive customer retention by ensuring timely contract renewals while proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow account revenue
- Deliver value-added services and solutions tailored to customer needs
- Educate internal stakeholders on commercial pressures and customer expectations
- Maintain and update the CRM database, ensuring effective time management and regular customer contact
- Stay visible in the business community and develop external networks.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a genuine passion for helping customers and ensuring satisfaction
- Proven experience in account management or a customer-facing role
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify new revenue opportunities
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Effective team collaboration skills, with a willingness to work cross-functionally across the business
- A customer-centric mindset, always aiming to deliver exceptional service and value
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing customer needs and business priorities.
