- making modifications to the control philosophy where needed
- managing personal stock and critical spares
- identifying how improvements could be made to save money and improve functionality
- covering out-of-hours callouts were required.
What you'll need
It is essential that you are a dual-skilled (electrical and mechanical) qualified technician with industrial work experience to help us maintain a diverse variety of plant machinery and equipment.
You will also need:
- the ability to work with minimal direct supervision, however, you will receive support through various forms of communication
- a Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical NVQ/City & Guilds qualification or equivalent (ideally)

- knowledge of technical design standards and WIMES (beneficial)
- awareness and knowledge of IT and health and safety
- Excel and pump selection tools
- a confined space working certificate
- technical knowledge and experience within pumped systems and pipelines
- a can-do attitude and flexible approach to work
- the ability to work in a pressurised environment day and night
- a full UK driving licence.
What you'll receive
- A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
- Career progression and professional development opportunities.
