We are looking for a Careers Wellbeing Advisor to join our team and support the personal and professional development of apprentices and early careers colleagues across the business. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by helping individuals achieve their goals and thrive in their careers.
What you'll do
In this exciting role, you will:
- support apprentices and colleagues on development programmes to achieve their qualifications and career ambitions
- organise activities that build community, celebrate success, and promote engagement
- provide pastoral and professional support, managing a caseload of apprentices and early careers colleagues
- build strong relationships through active listening and effective communication with individuals and managers
- identify and escalating safeguarding concerns and wellbeing needs appropriately
- work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure holistic support
- maintain accurate records and contributing to service improvements
- support entry-level apprentices to progress into permanent roles
- deliver personal and social development opportunities, including training and accommodation support
- escalate concerns relating to personal, professional, or programme quality.
What you'll need
We are looking for:
- experience in Microsoft 365 and able to work independently and efficiently
- experience supporting individuals through SMART goal setting and development planning
- knowledge of apprenticeship standards and experience working with education providers
- understanding of safeguarding, data protection, and equality legislation
- strong communication skills with empathy and professionalism
- adaptable, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement
- the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- confidence in influencing and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- you to be curious, courageous, and driven to make a positive impact.
