Working within the Quality Management team (QMT), which is part of the wider Compliance team, this role strives to deliver efficiencies to the business through a range of improvements and change initiatives.

A key part of this role involves overseeing the maintenance, monitoring, auditing and improvement of the ISO 9001:2015 management system and ISO14001/ISO 45001 as the business changes. 

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a small team, you will also:

  • oversee communication of updates to the business, using various software systems and databases
  • support the QMT through identified improvements to the system
  • work with other departments across the business to ensure quality is incorporated within their systems, including the Health and Safety team (ISO 45001) and Environmental team (ISO 14001)
  • monitor and review the implementation of the system by leading on the auditing programme
  • ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
  • manage the development of the quality management system to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO14001/ISO 45001 as the business changes
  • play an active role in facilitating the continuous improvement of the quality management system
  • identify individual/team objectives and goals to enhance personal development and team progression
  • assist Senior Management with an annual review of the context of the organisation, risks and opportunities and setting of quality objectives
  • contribute to new initiatives and projects review and communicate ensuring the quality objectives are met
  • integrate new systems and teams into WWSL management systems ensuring they are up to ISO standards.

What you'll need

In this role, we are looking for:

  • good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office and SharePoint systems
  • excellent administration and task coordination skills

  • excellent communication skills
  • the ability to work under own guidance and initiative
  • the energy and enthusiasm to drive continuous improvement
  • a good understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
