Sewerage Lead Operator

Are customers at the heart of everything you do? Looking for a role that offers development opportunities? If so, we have a great opportunity to join our western sewerage team as a Sewerage Lead Operator covering the Mendip, South Somerset and Taunton area.

What you'll do

As a Lead Operator you will have an established and positive approach to providing technical solutions in the operation and maintenance of sewerage assets.

• You will be the primary point of call to aid in resolving difficult asset or customer related issues.
• You will provide technical and senior support to the sewerage operators.
• You will provide support to the management team, to plan and organise work to ensure all business targets are achieved.
• You will be required to assist with supervision, support, training and mentoring staff at all levels.
• You will be responsible for contributing to the planning and implementation of necessary change to meet business goals.

What you'll need

The successful candidate will:

• be an effective team player and communicator, as well as being conscientious with a good understanding of customer expectations and requirements
• have an excellent understanding of Wessex Water policies and procedures
• have a demonstratable understanding of the water industry and associated regulations
• have an established knowledge base of the sewerage network.
