Technical Administrator

Do you have experience in delivering high-quality customer service? If so, we currently have an opportunity for you as a Technical Administrator.

Reporting to the Head of Sewerage Operations, you will provide support for the whole of the regional sewerage team, which includes the sewer team, pumping station team and jet vac team.

The role is based at Chilton Trinity, Bridgwater, but there is an expectation to work out of the other divisional offices at least one day a month. These locations include Poole, Trowbridge and Avonmouth; mileage will be paid.

What you'll do 

• Provide a varied technical administrative support to the regional sewerage team which may also expand to the wider teams.
• Be responsible for the administrative duties of those multiple business areas.
• Raise orders and keep systems updated while assisting with customer correspondence and enquiries.
• Use our computer systems, running holding and updating reports in Excel, as well as other programmes.

What you'll need 

To succeed in this role, you will need five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and maths. 

You should be computer literate with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet target levels of service. 

You will also need to be able to communicate at all levels with customers, colleagues and framework suppliers. 

Furthermore, you will need to be a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail, and proven customer service experience.

This is a technical administration role, so experience and understanding in this field would be an advantage.
