About the sewer renovation team

Train to become part of our talented sewer renovation team whose quality and efficiency of work ensures the right solution is delivered for our customers.

As one of our repair and maintenance waste apprentices you will learn how to carry out repairs and maintenance to the sewer network, making sure that they meet quality and customer service standards.

You could be excavating and repairing burst sewer pipes, dealing with a sewer collapse or making new connections as well as landscaping and general building works.

You will be working outdoors within a great team, dealing with different challenges every day and providing a vital service to our customers.

Based with one of our regional repair and maintenance teams, you will experience a range of unplanned repair tasks and planned maintenance jobs.

What will you be doing?

  • Excavation including CAT and Genny in various locations.
  • Sewer repairs.
  • Chamber repairs and builds.
  • Pumping and dewatering.
  • Traffic management.
  • Dealing with sewerage spills.
  • Making new connections.
  • Reinstatement.
  • Working safely to modern standards.

Where will you work?

As every day is different your location will also be different, but you will be within 90 minutes of home and will work in one of our local teams.

  • An interest in engineering or construction.
  • Ability to communicate with customers diplomatically and politely.
